LUTHERAN LADIES LEAGUE MEETS Seven ladies attended the regular meeting of the Lutheran Women's League at the home of Mrs.F. Eickmeier. Devotions commemorating the "World Day of Prayer" were led by Mrs.D.Winters and hymns were accompanied by Mrs.L.Schaan at the organ. The president, Mrs.R.Kirby opened the meeting, welcoming a new member, Mrs.R.Nygaard, recent- ly moved from Winnipeg to make their home in Schreiber. The Secretary-Treasurer, Mrs.H.Josus, read the minutes of the February meeting and gave . the treasurer's report. A motion was made to pur- chase four Lutheran Hymnals for the church library. The ladies discussed making altar and communion linen when the material arrives. Mrs. Josus then presented her topic on Missions in Brazil and Mrs.Schaan led the Bible Study--part four of St. Paul's letter to the Ephesians. After adjournment a delicious lunch was served by the hostess.
