Secretary Marguerite Mousseau read the minutes of the last meeting and Treasurer, Lita Marie Boudreau read her report. The Spiritual Convenor, Susan LeMay showed how to prepare a room when the Priest comes to administer the Last Sacrament. It was decided to have a raffle to help pay for the new capes for their wiforms. The girls will hand out papers for the C.W. L. and sell subscriptions to the Catholic Register. On Sunday, March 20th, the girls will wrap literature to send to Missions. The meeting ended with Father Gallagher's blessing. The members played badminton and were served a small lunch. WOMEN OF THE MOOSE HOLD REGULAR MEETING Women of the Moose met Wednesday evening in the Terrace Bay Moose Home with Senior Regent Ann Didura presiding. Moosehaven Chair man Kay Furyk introduced her committee and pre sented her Chapter Night Program. Recorder Alice Yates read the minutes and correspondence and regular business of the organization was conducted. Child Care Chairman Ann Todesco gave a fine Gov the CHURCH of youve SCHREIBER ST. Mrs. Todesco was very pleased with the response of good used clothing for needy folks in the district and was able to make a complete layette and clothe several families for which they were most grateful. The Senior Regent and all members were most pleased with the beautiful homemade corsages sent to them from Co-worker Mrs. Jean Glowacki Fort William Chapter 1338, for the use of the Chapter. Games were played at the close of the business meeting and Theresa Gaudet was the winner of a cup and saucer for carrying a purse containing the most articles. A delicious cold plate supper was served from a table decorated in a St. Patrick's motif. A birthday cake was presented to the Senior Regent while all members joined in singing Happy Birthday. Ann was also pre- sented with a qup and saucer. The Senior Regent thanked Mrs. Furyk and her committee for their fine evening, surprise birthday cake and gift. The Women of the Moose will meet again on Wednesday, March 17th. The Catholic Women's League will meet on Sunday evening, March 14th following the Recitation of the iiosary at 8:15 in St. Martin's Church. The Afternoon Group of the Ladies Aux. will meet on Monday, March 15th at 1:45 P.M. in the Community Church. (Continued on Page 8)
