If you are interested in entering, please enter your name on the Registration sheet located in the club house. Registrations close at 5:00 p.m. Feb. 20th. Downhill and Giant Slalom events will be held in Junior, Intermediate and Senior Divisions. Race dates and times will be posted following the close of registrations. Conditions at the hill are now rated as excellent. Ski times are still 1:30 - 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays and 7:00 - 10:00 P.M. Tuesdays and Fridays Ski School on Saturday mornings from 10:30 to 12:00 noon. Be Skiing You. MINOR HOCKEY NEWS (by Ernie Kettle) In Pee Wee House league playoffs last Saturday the Leafs and Bruins were battled to a 2 - 2 tie in their first game while the Hawks drubbed the Canadians 5-1. Hamilton and Knight scored for the Leafs with Matuszak and Slattery doing the honors for the Bruins. The Hawks were paced by Galvin and Hermes who each scored twice with Shivas scoring a single. SOCIAL NEWS A surprise wedding shower was held on February 9th, in honor of Gretchen Keating bride-elect, at the home of Dolores Tychoniak. Many lovely gifts were presented to the guest of honor. With more accent than ever on accident prevention, it is hoped and anticipated that a new low record of injuries will be established during 1965. We ask for your full support in this humane endeavour. When you estimate the number of disabling injuries to be reported during 19965 it is recommended that you review the records of previous years for woodlands operations, mills and plants. The rules provide that each entry must include a safety suggestion. Your idea can be related to home, traffic or industréal safety, or your own particular occupation.
