Williams. The opening hymn was accompanied by Mrs. H. Roberts and Mrs. M. McCausland led the Worship Service. In the absence of the Secretary, Mrs. R. Harris read the minutes. Mrs. McCausland reminded the ladies they might place their orders for Christmas cakes with Mrs. Pattison or herself for sale at the Christmas Bazaar. The Hasti-notes will be packaged at the November meeting in preparation for the bazaar. Members worked on Boy Scout kerchiefs during the afternoon and tea was served by Mrs. McCaus= land and Mrs. Williams. ter Night with Doreen Kurylo and her Library Com- mittee in charge. Attending the marriage of Sandra Leigh Locking to Bill Mcinnes in Kenora on Saturday, October 12th, were Mr. & Mrs. C. Buck and Mr. & Mrs. J. Wel- lings. Miss Myrna Crandlemire, now teaching in White River, was a bridesmaid and another former Terrace Bay resident attending was Steini Jacobson of Winnipeg with his wife and daughter. Miss Frances Salmundson of Winnipeg has joined the nursing staff of the Terrace Bay Private Hospital . Mr. F. Gould has returned home from two weeks visit in Strathroy with his mother and his sisters in London and Parkhill. Enroute home he stopped for a short visit in Parry Sound with Rev. & Mrs. Ray Anderson. Mr. & Mrs. W. Lundeen and Beverley from Eagle River spent the Thanksgiving weekend with their daughter Bun Larson and family. Beverley remained in Terrace Bay for a couple of weeks. Mr. & Mrs. B. Turgeon. and Michael were guests of her cousin Bun Larson over Thanksgiving enroute home to Vancouver from Toronto where they had been per- forming with the opera for the past six weeks. Mr. & Mrs. H. Lohr and Ricky enjoyed the holiday weekend in Morris, Manitoba with her father, Mr. E. Schwark and relatives in Winnipeg. WOMEN OF THE MOOSE HEAR REPORT Senior Regent Jackie Calder chaired the meeting Wednesday evening of the Women of the Moose, Chapter 1426, in Terrace Bay Moose Hall. Recorder Marg Duriez read the minutes of the past ners and correspondence. The Senior Regent reported on the 33rd annual convention she had attended in the Lakehead the previous weekend and also reported on the very successful Fashion Show held in September. Kitchen Convenors named were Ann Stachiw, Steffie Dorman and Stella Sadowick and anyone wishing to arrange a banquet may contact Mrs. Stachiw.
