SENIOR HOCKEY Under the leadership ot the new President, John Schritt, the Terrace Bay Superior Executive is starting to move in preparation tor another hockey season. In addition to commencing with fund-raising projects, the local crew is concerned with plans tor expansion ot the league this year. Well-based rumors trom Nipigon indicate that the Flyers will definitely NOT ice a team this year. With the poor showing they have made for road games the past few years, this is ' hardly surprising. Some of Nipigon's stalwarts will shift to Red Rock this year, to strengthen that team in Hts bid for the Lakehead Senior crown. With the loss of Nipigon, this leaves the North Shore with Schreiber, Terrace Bay and Marathon. However, feeling among local fans, and especially on the Sup's executive, is that the time has come to look toward Manitouwadge and spots east for league expansion. This would allow the league to return to four team strength and would also encourage use of local talent. Regardless of the outcome, the new executive will be working hard to give Terrace Bay another season ot top notch hockey.
