Phillips will host the next meeting on June 24, Berndtsson, Ainsley Middaugh and Jean Hoppers) en nn eee GUIDE=BROWNIE AUXILIARY MEET The regular meeting of the Ladies Auxiliary to Guides and Brownies was held at the home of Mrs. J. Caccamo on Monday. Mrs. J. Lang opened the meeting which was chaired by Mrs, J. Mikus. Minutes of the last meeting were read by Mrs. D. Evans-Smith and Treasurer's report given by Mrs. A. Farrow. The Cookie Day Convenor, Mrs, J. Knight, reported a very successful sale, Publicity Convenor, Mrs. A. Zwir, reported putting monthly notices in the paper. Badge Secretary, Mrs. L. Phillips, announced there Convenor, Mrs. J. Brooks, stated she gave out four brown ties and one outfit for a Brown Guider, Mrs. Re Downey, Guide Camp Convenor, requested transportation to Polly Lake July 13 to 23 and for the second camp July 23, Social Convenor, Mrs, Caccamo re= ported on the successful banquet held at the Terrace Bay Motor Hotel, Thanks were ¢x- pressed from the Local Association to Mrs. H, Roberts for once again making the Brownic tics. Three Brown Guiders and Mrs, Mikus, the District Commissioner, had enjoyed training camp at Polly Lake over the Victoria weck= end.
