Material had been ordered by the Secretary from the Canadian Chamber of Commerce for a 'Get Out and Vote Campaign?, Mr, Paget re- ported the local Kiwanis Club was anxious to run this campaign and he suggested the Chamber lend their efforts to that of the Kiwanis Club, Council members agreed to re- fer this'matter and material to Mr. Al Chisholm, Chairman of the Kiwanis Committee, The Secretary reported requests coming in to the Chamber of Commerce for reservations and he had forwarded details to the local Motels and Hotel for reply. Mr, Kelty described the meeting of the Upper Lake Superior Travel Council which he had attended at Black Sturgeon Falls, to- gether with Earl Stobbart, The meeting he found most educational and informative and reported matters of local interest in detail, A representative from the Department of Travel and Publicity would be invited to attend the next meeting and Mr, Kelty urged for a good representation from the local Chamber, In a lengthy discussion on the methods of developing the Aguasabon Gorge, a local point of interest, Mr, Kelty recommended it be full investigated and money spent to develop it.
