A social hour prece led the eight o'clock meeting when members and delegates representing White River, Marathon, Manitouwadge, Schreiber and Terrace Bay aired their views on affairs concerning the dis- trict, Special guests, Dave Joyal, Cuna representative and Harry Miles, President of the Lakehead Chapter, were welcomed by the presiding chairman, Jim Comeau of Marathons Minutes of the previous meeting were read by the secretary, Pauline Hoffman also of Marathon, A lively discussion on a possible Sub- Chapter school to tie in with the coming Lakehead Chapter School on June 1st and 2nd, and Sub~Chapter meeting brought forth many suggestions, such as small classes to en= courage self=participation, the possible need of supervision by a Field man from the League or experienced representatives from the Lakehead.
