Con- nor in District Magistrate's Court, Port Arthur after being apprehended six miles east of Schreiber in possession of tires and oil stolen from the Circle Route Service Station in Terrace Bay during the night of April 4the Due to a previous record one youth was sentenced to three months in District Jail, the other two receiving one month jail terms eache The youths were travelling from St,Cather- ines to the Lakehead in an attempt to find employment when the 1955 Chevrolet in which they were travelling developed tire trouble between Marathon and Terrace Bay, thus prompt- ing the theft of tirese Co-operation between local police and Ontario Provincial Police also resulted in the apprehension of a Toronto man and the recovery of a Thunder Bay Co-op milk van stolen from Schreiber and $85,00 worth of cigarettes and confectionery obtained during a break-in at the Terrace Bay RecsCentre in the early hours of April 10th.
