Added attractions are a "Twist't competition and audience participation in a sing-along number, : Don't plan for a baby sitter - take the kids with you for an evening of wholesome family enjoyment, BROWNIE MOTHER AND DAUGHTER BANQUET HELD District Commissioner, Mrs, J, Mikus, was guest speaker at the Terrace Bay Brownie Mother and Daughter Banquet Saturday evening. She stressed the value of quality rather than quantity in Brownies, Mrs. Mikus has been conducting training courses for leaders and hopes to begin an emphasis on the religious aspect of Brownies, Prior to' the dinner in the Terrace Bay . Motor Hotel, Grace was sung by the Brownies and Jane Valiquette proposed the toast to the Queen, The toast to Lady Baden Powell was made by Patricia Mikus, and Lynn Simmer proposed the toast to the Mothers, responded to by Mrs. C, Simmer, Mrs, A. Ziegleman introduced the new District Commissioner to the Brownies and their Mothers. The Brownies of the three Terrace Bay Packs joined voices in a delightful singsong for the entertainment of their Mothers, clos- ing with Taps. Following Taps, a film "Guides Across the Sea'? was shown with Mr. A, Ziegleman projecticnist. MEN'S 10 PIN CHATTER Practically all teams perked up last week and there were some outstanding games which effected a few changes in team and individual records, but not in League standings. Moose bowled a 736 scratch game which is |now the best so far this year, They also bet- tered the existing 3 game scratch record with average to 157, just. 1 pin back of Ray Stachiw, Nick Chopty: had a nice 518 (200) and Len - solid,1927, "Clarence Buck's 534 boosted his | Suixium510.
