JOHN ROSS The funeral of the late Mrs. John Ross, nee Nita Reid, whose death occurred in Fort William was conducted in St, Andrew's United Church in Schreiber on February 5 by Rev. R. A. Crook, assisted by Rev. Roy Wilson, of First Church United, Fort William, Pall bearers were W, Wilson, B. Paradis, D. Rose, We Ballard, HeH. Howard, Schreiber and P, Plummer, Terrace Baye i Mrs. Ross is survived by a daughter, Lillian, Mrs. T. McManus of Calgary, three sons, Neil, Borden, and Keith of Schreiber, 17 grandchildren and two great grandchildren Mrs. Ross came to Schreiber when a child with her parents from Tweed Ontario, and | lived here until 1947 when, with her husband | she moved to Fort William. She was pre- deceased by her husband, sons Kenneth and Douglas, and a daughter, Dolly. Attending the funeral from out of town were Mr, & Mrse Tere McManus, Calgary, Mr. & Mrs. Ross Brewitt and son Kenny, Mrs. WeR. Nesbitt assisted th hostess in serving the party supper complete with a mammoth cakes Mrs. Kushnieryk's mother, Mrse Se Kolochyn of Winnipeg is spending a month here with the family. Mr. Jim Hara, Dept. of Lands & Forests, his wife and children, have taken up resi- dence in Schreiber, Cosimo Filane appeared on CKPR's Youth 62 program last Saturday vocalizing and plugging his own records.
