Service by members of the Canadian Girls in Training was held in the Terrace Bay Community Church at the Sunday evening Service, December 17, The very lovely and inspirational service was under the direction of their leader, Mrs, Helen Brooks and assistant Mrs, Marilyn . Chisholm presided at the organ, | Beverly Phillips gave the Invocation after:the Procéssional Hymn and was followed by the Choir singing "Brightest and Best of. the Sons of the Morning", 'Margaret Anderson was the First Candle- lighter lighting in turn the candles of the _ Second Candlelighter Bonnie Beddard, and Third Candlelighter Sharon McKaskie. The 'congregation joined the Girls in singing "Joy to the World', The Litany was led by Carol McLeod iand Scripture reading by Sharyn Timpano with the 'Choir singing for their Anthem "In the Bleak Midwinter", A Christmas Fantasy found the Angels and Archangels given' human characteristics, Barbara Sweet, the Junior leader of the C,G,I,T, led as the Archangel and Angels were Ainsley Middaugh, Stephanie Synishin, Pat McCausland, Meredith Coe, Jill Crandlemire and Marcia Jeannereti Ushers Susan Brooks and Jean Hopper received the collection during the singing of the Hymn "As with Gladness Men of Oldt and. the Offertory Dedication Prayer was given by Wendy Duncan, The story of "The Messenger" giving light to the Humble and Grief-stricken was TERRACE BAY NEWS Y SEASON S_.
