Mrs, H.D.Weaver read the minutes and correspondence and Mrs, W. Thrower gave the Treasurer's report, Reports from the various Committees were given and Mrs. H. NoBride, Convenor for the annual Thanksgiving Supper, gave a roe on 'plans for this event. Mrs, F,Richardson read correspondence re the formation of new organization of Women's | Groups. SCHREIBER WOMAN DIES _IN EIGHTY-SECOND YEAR The funeral of the late Mrs.Rose E,Rosie who was in her eighty~second year and whose death occurred in hospital on October 2nd following a lengthy illness, was conducted on October 5th in St.John*s Anglican Church with Rev.R,J.S.Inshaw officiating. Mrs. Inshaw was organist for two hymns, | - "Nearer My God To Thee and "Rock of Ages," Honorary pall bearers were Roy Bailey, M. McCouan, R, Parent, W. Fairs, J,Corbett and' J.Phillips, Active Pall bearers were G,H, Birch, A,Cosgrove, I,Jacomb, A.McColeman, H, Costall, and T,W ebb. Interment was in Schrei~= ber Cemetery. Mrs,Rosie was predeceased by a aughaien in 1945 and a son in 1952, She is survived by four daughter, Elsie, Mrs,Henry Jewell and Helen, Mrs, W.E.D*Arcy, Dorothea, Mrs. 5, Plumer, 211 residing in Schreiber, Kathleen, Mrs, E,H.Murray of Toronto and one son, Donald of Fort William, There are eleven grandchild- ren-and seventeen great grand children, Mrs.Rosie was a member of St,John's Anglican Church and belonged to the Women's Auxiliary | and the Victory Club of the Church, a group who devoted their timed to knitting and sewing | during the last war, _., Attending services from me of town were Mr,& Mrs, D.Rosie, Mr.& Mrs, C.Lyttle, Mrs, Geo,Bailey, Fort William and Mrs. E,H,Murray of Toronto, Mr.& Mrs. L.Fitzsimmons of Carberry, Man, visited with the F,C,Macadams on Monday, Miss Althea Holynaty, Port Arthur was the guest of Mr.& Mrs.D,Nesbitt last week and visited with Lorraine Nesbitt who was a patien' in Terrace Bay Hospital.
