During the evening hours they will be allowed to make use of the room up until 6 P.M, HIGHWAY ASSOCIATION DIRECTORS MEET IN ASHLAND, WISCONSIN A quarterly Board of Directors meeting of the Lake Superior International Highway Association was held in Ashland, Wisconsin on May 26th, Attending the session were direct- ors and advisors from communities located on the Lake Superior Circle Route, Following the Directors meeting a Reception and Dinner was held at the Marine Club of Ashland, This was attended by the "Winter Admirals of Lake Superior", a group of some 40 persons who had visited Terrace Bay during their trip around the lake last February, The dinner meeting was addressed by Harvey Grassé of Madison Wisconsin, Chairman of the Wiscon- sin State Highway Commission, Earlier in the day visiting ladies were entertained at a luncheon given in their honour by the Superior Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce. This was followed by a Lake Cruise, Chief items considered at the Director's meeting related to development of a Circle Route Guide, publicity appraisals, promotional items and the proposed "Around the Lake Sports Car Rally" now scheduled for 1962, Mr. and Mrs. F.0,. Soughton attended this meeting, Mr. Soughton is a Director, TERRACE BAY COMETS TRAVEL TO LAKEHEAD The Terrace Bay Comets travelled to the Lakehead for three games Sat, and Sun. SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Over one hundred students, the majority of them Elementary School teachers, will enrol in summer courses at the Lakehead College of Arts, Science and Technology. courses will commence in the first week of July and close in the middle of August. Five courses will be offered, all of them in the Faculty of Arts ~ first year Economics, Philosophy and Zoology, and second year English and History, The The meeting of May 25, began at 6,30 P.M, with 15 Scouts and 5 Leaders present. The Colour Party from the Eagle Patrol brought forward the colours, The inspection of each Patrol was carried out by the leaders, The Scouts then took part in a game of tying six different Scout knots. The Scouts broke off for Patrol Corners after which enjoyed a rough game of Dritish Bulldog.
