TERRAGE | Circulation Terrace Bay & Schreiber | REMEMBRANCE DAY SERVICE NOVEMBER 12TH This Saturday at 11 A.M, Terrace Bay i veterans and the public will participate in 'a Remembrance Day service at the Cenotaph. The parade, led by the Town Band, will include Veterans, Scouts, Cubs, Guides and i Brownies and will assemble in front of the 'cam parading to the Cenotaph, where the service will be conducted, A good turn out of Veterans is anticipa- i ted this year. The service is being held on ; Saturday, November 12th as the maximum 'number of mill employees do not have to work = Saturday therefore more people can parti- ;cipate. It is hoped that a good turn out of 'the general public, including children, will be in evidence, { We expect that everyone who finds it : possible, especially Veterans, will want to 'attend this service to pay homage to the 'men and women who gave their lives in two 'world wars for their Country. In the evening on November 12th the ' Veterans and their Ladies will attend a ; banquet at the Moose Hall at 6 P.M. A i dance will follow at 9 P.M, The public 'are invited to attend the dance, Veterans . are urged to get their tickets from any of :the committee members. This banquet and 'dance promises to be one of the best yet. : The guest speaker will be Douglas Fisher, MeP., of Port Arthur , who will speak about i the European campaign in World War II, The committee in charge of the arrange- 'ments have done a lot of work to organize all the activities and they deserve the ; support of all Veterans by their attendance "if it is at all possible, | PUBLIC SCHOOL WINDOWS BROKEN | Twice in recent months there have been 'reports of windows in the Public School being 'wilfully broken, Signs have been placed on Public School iproperty which may result in a $25.00 reward 'for information received by the School Board | leading to apprehension of those responsible for this damage. However, the co-operation lof all concerned could eliminate this wilful, useless damage to property.
