The other outstanding player is Cava, their catcher, Undoubtedly, Taylor and Kolody will handle the pitching chores for Terrace with Wilkinson and Guimont in reserve, COMETS LOSE-TIE OVER WEEKEND Sunday afternoon the Terrace Bay Comets travelled to Port Arthur to play the Colonels in a double-header. In the first game Ab Filipovic, the Colo- nel!s pitcher, limited the Comets-.to three hits while striking out eleven and walking only one man. Kolody for Terrace pitched well enough to win, allowing four hits, stri- king out five and walking one. Filipovic helped his own cause by getting two of his team's hits. Hansen smashed out two of the three hits for Terrace, Guimont started on the hill. for:the Comets in the second game, He was wild and, after getting one out and walking three, he was pulled out in favour of Rex Taylor. Taylor pitched the remaining 8 2/3 innings and did not allow-a hit. He struck out nine and walked six. Walks and an error allowed the Colonels to tie the game. Nipper Osmar had three hits in this game while Hansen and Strope each had two.
