Page 6 ST.ANDREWS CHURQH GROUP HOLD CARD PARTY A most successful whist and bridge party was given by the Evening Auxiliary of St, Andrew!s Church on Friday evening with the following committee in charge:- Mesdames R.Gander, convenor, R,A,Crook, W.Davis, P, Hrynyk and F,Bade. The high at bridge was won by Mr. J.D. Bryson, the low by Mrs, R.Sisson; the high at whist by Mrs. J.Smart and the low by Mrs. Earl Holmes. SEPARATE SCHOOL P.T.A. MEET IN SCHREIBER Leo Tookenay presided for 'the April meet- ing of the Separate School P,T.A with Mrs. Stanley reading the minutes and correspond- ence and Mrs.B,Paradis giving the financial report. -John Branchaud gave an interesting account of the convention in Toronto which he had attended as delegate from here. Mrs. Bob Spadoni reported a successful Hot Cross Bun Sale. Leo Tookenay was commended for raising the sum of $180 as talent money during the winter. Mrs.P.J.Syvitski was appointed to attend the Workshop at the Lakehead. The attendance prize was won by Sister Marina!s rooms Mrs.Dominic Figliomeni and her daughters were welcomed as new members. Mrs.R.Gaudet was appointed lunch convenor for the May meeting.
