Leaving New York aboard the S,S,America on August lst they landed in France and toured Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Holland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark. Irene Ed- monds joined them for their last month of holi- days and together they travelled the British Isles returning aboard the Hnnre ss of France to Montreal and home, While on an assignment to.Terrace Bay last week Vernon Kehler and Clifford Poulin of Port Arthur were guests of Mr.& Mrs.Bruce Larson, Mr.& Mrs.G.Artist and Mr.& Mrs,K, Browning of Fort William visited last weekend with Mr. and Mrs,Sax Lundberg. Mr.Michael Miller retired October 15th from his position at the Post Office where he had been employed for the past six years, A,family dinner marked the occasion at the home of his daughter, Mrs.J,Wellings and during the evening he was presented with a purse. Mr.Miller plans to travel for the present, visiting sons in the East, a sister in Connecticut and eventually make his home in Saskatchewan.
