October 23, 1958 CURLING NEWS Mixed Bonspiel The Curling season will get underway with a bang-up Bonspiel ahout November 12th, ~ This Bonspiel will be open to all residents of Terrace Bay. There are only two quali- fications - you must be a member of the Terrace Bay Recreation Association and you must be willing to pay one dollar entry fee, All monies so Sollected will be used for prizes, You are agsured of a minimum of two games, To enter simply put your name on the list in the Curling Club Lounge or give it to Len Crockford or Brian Peterkin or any member of the executive. The entry fee will be collected by the skips, This Bonspiel will wind-up on Saturday, Nov.i5th, The finals in each event will be played at 7 P.M. followed by presentation of prizes and a social in the Club Lounge with dancing*and refreshments, Incident- ally, all games will be played inthe evening with the possible exception of one or two draws on Saturday afternoon, This will be an excellent opportunity for those contemplating curling to take 'a crack at 27; TENTATIVE SCHEDULE OF EVENTS FOR 1958-59 November through March-regular scheduled curling for trophies and prizes, Nov.12 - Open Bonspiel (Mixed) "15 - Social evening " 15 - Deadlinn for Membership applica- tions.
