Devotion - Sunday afternoon at 4,00 P.M. to be followed by Benediction, MR&G_MossRe ALCORN BID 'ADTEUt On Thursday evening neighbours gathered in the home of Mrs.Ruth Collinson to say good- bye to Mrs.Emeline Alcorn who is leaving to make her home in Fort William, and on their behalf Mrs.L.B,Noonan presented a beautiful crystal vase and personal gift in token of their good wishes, A dainty lunch was served and pleasant evening spent by Mesdames Jackie Turner, Irene Bolan, Ann Cataford, Em,Everett, Alice Anderson, Thelma Olson, Marg.Walsh and Shir- ley Pudney. On Monday night Mr.& Mrs.Alcorn were honoured at a farewell party in the home of Mr.& Mrs.Robert Winters and presented with a table lamp by the following friends:- Mr.& Mrs.Winter, Mr.& Mrs.Milton Winters, Mr. & Mrs.Jack Winters, Mr,.& Mrs.Gus Krause, Mr.& Mrs.Fred Harness, Mr.& Mrs.H.Welbourne, Mrs.Bert Huller, Mr.& Mrs,Con.Duggan, Mr.& Mrs,Harry Jartus, Mr.& Mrs.T.Whitton and Mr.& Mrs,J.Corbett. A corsage was presented to Mrs.Alcorn by Mrs.Krause and a happy evening spent by the old friends playing cards before lunch was served. * ARLENE AND RUTH ALCORN HONOURED Arlene and Ruth Alcorn were honoured at a farewell party arranged by their friends in the Anglican Church Hall. Ariene was pre-- sented with a gold compact from this group and received a necklace from the Church Girls! Auxiliary.
