Assisting the hostess with the luncheon were Mrs, Vi Fedorak and Mrs, Cora Lemay. Mrs. Joan Gala & son, Keewatin, Ontario is visiting her sister Mrs. Helen Fedun for a couple of weeks, Mrs. Glenna MacDonald entertained at a birth- day party last Saturday to celebrate daughter Marlyn's fifth birthday. Ten guests were present playing party games and enjoying the luncheon. Seen at the Lakehead last Saturday Marg. Simmer, Vicki Brend and Marge Anderson, Joann Stevens also enjoyed a party Monday on cthe occasion of her fifth birthday. Sadowick returned from Teulon, Man., last Wednesday where they had attended the marria of her nephew Ray Dwornick to Miss Doris Lar on the 13th. Sig Erickson has his brother C. Erickson Kowasson and his daughter Marlene a nurse at Sick Childrens Hospital in Montreal visiting him this week, Mr. & Mrs. T, McMillan & Mr. & Mrs, D, McMillan and son, Fort William, were weekend visitors of the Fred McMillans, Mr. & Mrs, H.L. Ward, Fort William, are visiting the F, McMillan's & will take grand daughter Wendy home with them for a short visit. Mrs.A.Graham of Toronto is visiting her sister Mrs.A.Sinkins and has brought back their mother, Mrs.E.Robb,. Mrs.Helen Wallace, Schreiber, with Miss B.Haughn and Mrs.J,Rowley, Terrace Bay, attended the 43rd Annual Grand Session of the Order of the Eastern Star of Ontario held in the Royal York Hotel, Toronto, on September,16th to 19th, Mrs.A,W.Harris of Smiths Falls, spent last week at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J,Rowley. Mesdames, E.Brady, M.McCausland, C.E, Paget and D,.Locking, spent several days visiting in Duluth, Minn., last week. KIWANIS FISHING CONTEST CLOSED SEPT.15TH The Kiwanis Fishing Contest for Child- ren finished on Sept.15th. Winners will be announced in the near future. The winner in each class will be in- vited to attend a Kiwanis meeting for the awarding of prizes.
