Mr, Bs Mrs, Charlie Fisher of Waterloo - Wisconsin were visitors at the home of Mary and Curly Hale last week. Vickie pean ot Brend and children are back from a week's holidays in Winnipeg visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs.. i. Bozyk, Marg and Henry Duriez with son Tommy returned last week from their trip to Paradise Hill, Saskatchewan to visit with Henry's Mother, Mrs. Alfred Duriez and family; Marg's brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Tait of Port Arthur visited with them last weekend, Winn and Arnold McKechnie and the children motored to Victoria, B.C. to visit Winn's mother, Mrs, Ellen Hagelhurst and have brought fer back to Terrace Bay with them for a-few weeks, On their return they visited | Arnold's uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Bob McKechnie of Vancouver, Mr, and Mrs, Percy McKechnie inPortage la Prairie, Manitoba, and saw the Stampede in Calgary. The trip was highlishted by a visit.to Fort McLeod, alberta where they watched the induction of the War Ace, Captain Douglas Bader, as an Honourary Chief of the Blood Indians, and named Chief Morning Bird, and his wife, Lady Eagle. Mrs. Bader was presented with a beautiful white elk purse, The children received scrolls of the event, and they watched for over five hours as the ceremonies and dances, previously closed to the public, were performed. They also had a visit with the Del Peppards now of Castlegar, and formerly of Terrace Bay. (cont'd next col, ) Pe 3 Mr. and Mrs, Benoit Comeau are home from their trip to Digby County, Nova Sow tia where they visited Mrs, Comeau's Father Mr, J, Belliveau and her sister, Mrs. Camille Blinn and Mr, Comeau's Mother , Mrs, Mary eo Comeau. Mrs. Wark and daughter Helen left Tuesday for their home in Hamilton, Ontario .having visited her daughter Shirley Stewart and family for the past two weeks. Barbara and Dave Amos and children spent a week in North bey. M&SLOENE Mr. and Mrs. Don Upham, - Magistrate and; Mrs, P, T. Hake of Port Arthur" and Mr. and Mrs, Andy Brown of Toronto visited with Lois and Chuck Haviland last week, Grace oles and family visited fr the past three weeks in Montreal with her Sister Mrs, R. G, Edwards and:left sons Robby and Randy there for the balance of the Summer Holidays. The C.G.1.T; Camp held last week at Loon Lake was well-represented with Terrace Bay girls this year with Linda MacFadyen, 'Barbara Sweet, .Gail Woods and Betty Ann Rowson attending. Mr. and Mrs, Roy Linnert visited Roy's brother Mr. and-Mrs, Irvine Linnert in Lac du Bonnet and with friends in Winnipeg, and in Eagle River with Mr. and Mrs. John Belin on their holidays, The Dim Bulbs met last Wednesday the 24th at the home of Mrs. Sheila Zwaresh. Cards were enjoyed during the evening with Louis Stuart winning first prize and Lois Haviland the booby. On behalf of the Electrician's wives the president, Eleanor Ruzyski presented the departing member Dot Shrier with a Lady Buxton Purse and their best wishes, A delicious lunch was served by the hostess. Next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. E. Belliveau,
