FROM THE SPORTS PAGE MARATHON WHIPS TERRACE BAY 73 -- 40 in BASKETBALL In an exhibition contest played at the Terrace Bay High School Gym, Marathon again trounced Terrace Bay by a 73-40 count, The Marathon five again displayed their superior form and although playing with 5 men managed to build a sufficient enough lead in the first half to coast through for a win, Marathon were led by their fine sharp-shooting guard, Bell, who hooped in 22 points, many of these being scored on long set shots, Graham, operating from the "Bucket", and Damon at guard also performed well as they chipped in with 17 and 15 points respectively. Terrace Bay were again led by Mike Moziar who hooped in 16 points on the offense. Zebrowski also performed well at centre, Terrace Bay were not strengthened for this game by the expected reinforce- ments who were away. However in the rext exhibition contest scheduled for Marathon it is hoped that they will then be available, (cont'd next col.)
