Some 170 lads and dads sat down to a delicious meal served by Mrs. Ostling and her committee of ladies, Group Committee chairman, Mr. B. Shirriff acted as master of ceremonies and carried through the program with dispatch and efficiency. Mr. J. Wig presented the awards to the boys winning them, The guest speaker was Commissioner Baxter. of Marathon who gave the boys an interesting and challenging talk on scouting. Two films were shown and some very good group singing was done by the boys in their camp fire songs.
