Before a capacity crowd in the Terrace Bay Arena on Wednesday night, the Mercuries won a decisive victory over Port Arthur Bearcats by a score of 62 in the 5th and final game in the series, The Mercuries "out-hustled" the Bearcats for a full 60 minutes and after 2 quick goals in the first period there was little doubt that the Mercuries would clinch the series.
