The game ended in a 8.8 tie, This was a home and home total goals to count series, and our boys lost out by four goals. Marathon - 15 goals, Terrace - 11 goals. The North Shore Minor Hockey playoffs are are now completed and Winners are as follows: _ Pee Wee (8 - 12 yrs) won by Schreiber, Bantam (12 - 14 yrs) won by Terrace Bay Midget (1, yrs) won by Marathon Juvenile (16 - 18) won by Schreiber. Terrace Bay and Marathon did not enter Juveni' _----- MEN'S CURLING CLUB NEWS Plans for the 9th Annual Invitational Bonspiel are almost complete. Eight local rink- and twenty-four visiting rinks will square off on April 4th.in what promises to be the biggest and best Bonspiel we have ever held. Visiting rinks are expected from Nakina, Geraldton, Red Rock, Nipigon, Rossport, Schreiber, Marathon, Manitouwadge, Wawa, Port Arthur and Fort Williar: Excellent prizes have been obtained and a full program of entertainment has been arrenged. Curling for this season is rapidly drawing to a close. 'The men's Club will pro- bably wind up their curling ebout the middle of April. The first round of the double © round robin has been almost completed and the completion of the second round will mark the end of the season. If time permits the men!' club is planning to hold another mixed bonspic__ open to all curlers end others who would be interested, to wind up the season.
