Grace and Don Brearley were in Toronto where Don was a delegate to the Ontario Credit Union League Convention, and returned with renewed enthusiasm following this week-~long convention with approximately nine hundred other delegates and alternates. He particularly was impressed with their speaker Mr.Sietz, President of Underwood Ltd., who spoke on "Relations between ~ Industry and Credit Unions". Grace Brear-- ley and the Children, Joan, Donna and Rickie remained in Toronto for another two weeks where they are guests of Grace's bother, Donna underwent surgery during her time oerey in Toronto. Joyce Sitch with her girlfriend Arlene Gibbons,. both in training at Port Arthur © General Hospital are visiting with Joyce's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Sitch for three weeks 'vacation, * ' Gloria Campbell, also a nurse-in- training at Port Arthur General, was a weekend visitor at the home of her parents, -- Mr. & Mrs. 'Os Campbell, Kenogaml Road. Jean' and Joe Mousseau were in the Lakehead last weekend for medical purposes. Mrs. Charles Hickey of Pembroke, Ont. is visiting with her daughter, Polly Daniels and -- for a month, Jane Persson had a birthday party with seven guests on Sunday afternoon to cele--- brate her fifth birthday, Games were played before 'their birthday luncheon and the shildren a ae for home with balloons ar favors, Mrs. Joe Campbell, Pine Crescent, held a party for her daughter Diane's 7th Birth day. Twelye children were present and | enjoyed bingo and various games followed by a birthday luncheon and treats as they left for home, Ann and Jerry Papousek returned home on the 7th from Holland Marsh, Ont., where they, (Cont d'page 8)
