(cont'd on page 3) LARGEST CIRCULATION IN TERRACE BAY February 28, 1957 TERRACE BAY STREET ACCIDENT On February 27, an accident occurred on a Terrace Bay street involving a child on & sleigh and a motorist. It is fortunate that the accident was not a serious one, But the occurrence of it emphasizes once again that in the winter months everyone has tobe vigilant in order to avoid such accidents. Driving in Terrace Bay in the winter months presents hazards. The snow banks along the roads are extremely high and if children play on them and suddenly slide on the road it is most difficult for a motorist to stop suddenly on the usually slippery surface to avoid an accident, For the remainder of the winter let us all be extra cautious, If parents would emphasize again to their children the danger of playing.on the snow banks alongside the road, or the danger of playing on the roads, and walking in the centre of the road, and if all motorists sould be extra careful; then we should not have any accidental occurrences, ATTENTION PATRONS OF RECENT NAVAL REUNION nee rmneetenernemere meneame nee are raat 4. complete set of pictures (7 in all) of the Naval Reunion Party held at Hotel Terrace on February 16th, has now been rec- cived and prints are available at 25¢ each, 4snyone interested in obtaining prints is asked to contact Eldon i@rostica, These are all excellent photos and will make a splendid addition to your album.
