Referees fees have been increased for regular and playoff games but the new rates have not yet been established, 0-0-0 ATTENTION ALL PERWEE HOCKEY COACHES This Friday, November 2nd PeeWee Hockey gameswill commence ~ Your schedule for the season will be given to you this week, 0-0-0 HOUSE I AGUE HOCKEY The following is the proposed agenda for the meeting to be held on Monday, November 12th at 7:00 p.m.in the Rec, Centre, All those interested are urged to attend. Let's make it a well attended meeting. 1. Number of teams to be formed and schedule, 2. Last date for registration of players and transfers. 3. All House League players must be members of the Terrace Bay Rec, Association. 4. Entry fee of $1.00 per player to be paid by Dec. 31st or registration date whichever one is later, 5. House League to supply sweaters for two teams. 6. Governing body to be comprised of Mel Nicol and Al Ziegleman and manager of each team, 7e House League to appoint the follow- ing officials for each game with some remuneration for their services, Referee - Linesman - Goal Judge Time Clock Operator - Scorekeeper 8. C.AH.A. Rules to be in effect except for the following: -1. No Bodychecking 2. No Boarding 3. No Slashing 4, No Highsticking 5. No Holding 6, No Fighting 9. Method of selecting teams from pooled players, e-0-0 Page & FIGURE SKATING NEWS Season Tickets Go On Sale Nov. 8th & 10th Figure skating will officially begin November 6th with the first group lessons starting that day. To date 100 skaters have enrolled in the Terrace Bay Figure Skating Club with Ivy Pattison again acting as club Professional. The Terrace Bay F.S.C. have applied to the Canadian Figure Skating Assoc, for membership. If-our application. is. accepted it is hoped that Terrace Bay skaters will be able to take tests in the Spring - with judges coming from the Lakehead, We are very fortunate to have one qualified judge here in Terrace Bay - Mrs. Betty Bouchard. A season ticket costing $12,00 per member will include membership fee, carnival fee, and approximately 40 lessons. Tickets will go on sale in the lounge of the Rec. Centre Thursday, Nov. 8th from 3:00-5:00 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 10th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. These season tickets may be paid in two instal- ments - one at the beginning of the season and the second payment to be paid by Jan. 8th 1957, The following is a list of the groups and times of lessons, Parents please make sure your child: or children are on time for their lesson with skates done up properly and make sure they are warmly clothed, No child will be allowed on the ice during figure skating sessions with bare legs. Again this year all sessions will be supervised.
