ICE CHIPS Sunday!s game between Marathon and Schreiber seemed the type of game that the team with the territorial edge in play was unable to score goals - Schreiber were the underdogs in the pre game gallup poll, and although they didn't play it like underdogs nevertheless came out on the short. end of a 6-2 score, Marathon iced a very formidable aggregation, with strength in all departments, but. they seemed to lack some of the pelished play they showed last season, They seem to have a steading influence on Defense in their coach Bolan, who looks as if he has played plenty of hockey in his day, The goal- tending chore by Jorgenson was at times superb, as he outsmarted the attacking Schreiber players on numerous all out rushes.
