The couple will reside in Terrace Bay following a wedding trip to Toronto, For travelling the bride wore a wool dress of peacock blue, imported from Belgium, A winter white hat and accessories and a corsage of yellow roses completed her ensemble, Out-of-town guests attending the wedding were: Mr, and Mrs, M, Oakley, Fort William, lirs, J. Austin, Port Arthur, Mr. and Mrs. T. C, Austin, Port Arthur, Mr. William Austin, Port Arthur and Mr, and Mrs. L. Spiess, Port Arthur and Mrs, and Mrs. Je Baccari of Port Arthur, Prenuptial parties for Mr, and Lrs. Bouchard were held by "D" Company Lake Superior Scottish.Regiment, of which both are members. A miscellaneous shower in Port Arthur for the bride, at the home of Mrs. L. Spiess on November 4th, and another at the home of Mrs, C. Simms, Terrace Bay on November 12th when the bride was entere tained by the girls of the office staff of LongLac Pulp and Paper Company, A stag was held by the groom's co-workers of LongLac Pulp and Paper Company on November 8th in the Guild Hall, Schreiber when he received a wallet and a sum of money. Silver baskets of yellow and white mums decorated the altar of Terrace Bay Community Church at 2:00 p.m, Saturday, November 19th, for the marriage of Miss Phyllis Anne Ryback, daughter of Mr, and irs. Michael Ryback of Seech, Manitoba to Aubrey George Boutilier, son of Mr, and Mrs, Austin Boutilier of Bedford, Nova Scotia, Reverend Arthur Lavender officiated for the wedding. Organist was Mr, Ernie Rowson with Mr, Clarence Buck as guest soloist, singing "I Love You Truly" during the signing of the register, Yellow and white satchet mums with ferns and satin bows marked the guest pews. The bride, given in marriage by her brother-in-law, Mr. George Burns, wore a floor-length gown of strapless lace topped by a lace bolero with lily-point sleeves, the collar closely worked in pearls and opalescent sequins. The lace continued in the skirt to the hipline to billow out from there in nylon net with lace motifs over a tiered underskirt of net over satin. Her scalp halo of lace, also closely worked in pearls and sequins, caught up the fingertip (Cont. on next col.) AROUND THE TOWN (Cont. ) veil of French illusion net. The bridal bouquet was of red roses and white carnations tied with a printed satin bow. ' Attending as Maid of Honour was Miss Senni Wataja who wore a.coral lace gown, also strapless and topved by a bolero, The skirt burst into fullness below the knees with multilayers of net edged in opalescent sequins. Her halo headdress and long gloves were of matching coral and she carried a spray bouquet of yellow satchet mums and white carnations. Groomsman for his brother was Don Boutilier while ushers were Bob Hales and Tom Turner. A reception was held following the wedding, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Turner, 108 Laurier Street. Receiving for the bride was her sister, Mrs, George Burns, who was gowned in a grey silk print with black velvet hat and accessories and a cor- sage of pink roses, lirs, Tom Turner, sister of the groom chose for the occasion a white knitted suit with black sequin On _hat and accessories and a corsage of red roseS. ' The bride's table was covered with a white linen cloth and held the three-tiered wedding cake, The cake, decorated with roses and doves between tiers, was topped with a'miniature bride and groom beneath a semi-arch of flowers, set in a nest of tulle and mums and flanked by white tapers. Servitors for the reception were: lirs, Helen Hales, Mrs, Evelyn Boutilier, lirs. M, Stachowich, Miss Gertrude Nadeau and Miss Judy Boutilier. Replenishing were Mrs. V, Hopper, Mrs, J. Wilson, Mrs. G- Knauff, Mrs, H. Harrison and Mrs. A,» Crockford,. Mr, and Mrs, Boutilier left on a trip west, Mrs, Boutilier wearing a torquoise knitted suit with pale yellow hat and gloves and a corsage of cream roses, On returning they will reside in Terrace Bay. Out-of-town guests were Mr, and Mrs. M. Stachowich of Vermillion Bay, Ontario, Mr. Leonard Ryback of Seech, Manitoba and Constable C. R. Duffy of Heron Bay, Ontario, Prior to her marriage the bride was entertained at a miscellaneous shower November 5th at the home of Mrs, Hazel Harrison when many lovely gifts were re- ceived from a decorated baket, Games were played during the evening anda . delicious buffet luncheon served by the hostess. Emmett Marcotte has been a patient in St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto for the past three weeks, and expects to be there (Cont. on page 8 )
