SOFTBALL DANCE MAY 27TH On 'Friday night May 27th the big Softball Dance will get underway' at: 10:00 pem. This dance is timed to coincide with the opening of what we hope will -be a banner softball season, The Draw prize for the dance is a complete Deep Sea Trolling Outfit. Tickets for the dance are available from any member of the local Softball organ- ization. Be a Booster attend the Dance and support your favourite club by buying your ticket from a member of the team you like the best, as there is keen competition among the teams to see who can sell the most tickets, : o-~0-0 RECREATION FLYER ART CLUB The president of the Art Club has asked me to notify all those attending, to make an extra effort this Friday to get out. There is an important part of business to come up which will concern each member, LITTLE LEAGUE BALL PLAYERS This ywar we are trying to set up a field of your own, We are now working on the playground at St. Martin's School for you. We have already moved two big setsof bleachers over to these grounds. CHILDREN'S ART CLASS Every Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:30 in the large room of the Recreation Centre, we are holding an art class for the children. Last week with an attendance of 18 we chose a committee. Joe Marcella is the president and Don Farrow the treas- urer. The weekly dues are 1l¢. If there is still the desire in. the Fall and we can get you ladies out | again with our instructor, we may start a larger group with other activities besides tumbling. SOCCER ~~~'There are now 14 names of. interested people who will contribute help in fixing up the old field at the South Camp. we. would like to bring this group together. with others interested this Thursday . at 7:30 in the small meeting room at the Recreation Centre to plan our work party. --- = = TEIN TOWN This year during the summer months we would like to organize a Teen Town group. To give us aid, we had Phil Miller attend the Youth Conference in Dryden this year to get some ideas which would help out , in our Town. We are holding an open : meeting on Tuesday, May 17th in the large room of the Recreation Centre at 8:00 Pem.
