Hopper opened the meeting with a word of welcome to the ladies, It was announced at this meeting that Mrs. George Maitland was appointed Commissioner of the Guides and Brownies for Schreiber, Marathon, and Terrace Bay, The election of officers for 1955 took place with Mrs. E, Brady and Mrs, P. Gombola acting as scrutineers, The following executive was elected: Vice Chairman: Mrs. George Clifford, Rec. Secretary and Treasurer: Mrs, J. Todd, Corresponding Secretary, Mrs. J, Marcella, Badge Secretary: iirs. M. McCausland Uniform Convenor: Mrs. D. Boudreau Publicity Convenor: Mrs. L. 0. During the year eleven Golden Bars were earned, There are eleven working for Golden Hand, Our Thinking Day Tea brought in $25.00 We sold 75 I1.0.D.E. Cook Books and have orders for 25 more.
