HOUSE LEAGUE HOCKEY (Cont.) remaining teams, From the spectators point of view this will mean stronger teams, better hockey, and lot of added interest, The four team league will have a different schedule which will be published soon, To enable the teams to continue with their Wednesday night double-header, outside teams from White River and possibly Nipigon will play the late game, as an exhibition game, The new league started last night with the Tigers playing Shift #2 in the early game, and the Flyers took on White River in an exhibition game. Early Game Shift #2 beat Tigers by a score of 6-5. It was a close game and well enjoyed by the crowd of enthusiastic fans. Shift #2 for the first time this season had a full team out and took ad- vantage of every break, The Tigers, reinforced as they are by Shift #1 carry- overs, will need a few practices to get their team sorted out, and should then be a strong and winning team, Late Game . This was the. first: of a series of exhibition games which the House League is sponsoring. White River took the unbeaten and untied Fly:rs down a notch by defeating them 7-4, The White River boys are good and the Flyers are out to even things, so the next time these teams meet, you better come early before all the seats are taken, Point Parade Unfortunately the biome din needed to keep the Point Parade going was not available for this week, but this feature will be back again in next week's news, House League Standings Team Wins .
