Maintenance under the direction of Emil Charban turned out with great spirit. They played a good close game even though they did not come out winning. Our four team Captains so far are Ted Kostiuk, Jack Dawson, Dick Jones and Emil Charban, The standings after the othernights games were: 1. Jack Dawson's team - Tim Bond, Ray Stachiw, Bill Hanley, Larry Zahara and Marvin Osmar, 2. Ted Kostiuk's Team - Peter Kuchirka, Geo, Rouhiainen, Geo. Dashkwwytch, Henry Hermes. and Bill Megraw, 3- Dick Jones's Team - Jim Moro, Bob Weaver, Frank Sechesky, Cy Brassard, Murdo Campbell and Paul Kowalchuck, 4. Emil Charban's Team - Ned West, Murray McRat, Jim Smith, Laurie Shultz, Ernie Kettle and Hack Freeman, Volley ball seems to be what the men are enjoying, so why don't you come on out and give it a try. There are no complicated rules to stop you so get in and play. Basket ball is played in the latter part of the evening and we had 3 full teams play after the volley ball last Thursday, ! If you like to tumble come on out and show your interest, BASKET BALL PLAYERS We are still in need of those interested in playing basketball, Tuesday nights from 8 = 10:30 p.m, is our playing time. You are always welcome to come out and play. HOME HOBBIES ._This is to interest all those in town who have hobbies at home that would like to place on display at the Official Opening in a room in the Recreation Centre, As. you know this date is set for December 4th so we hope you will get busy and let us know if you will have something for us to show the visitors and others in town on this occasion, Please phone Jim at the Centre to let us know if you have anything or will have anything for this display. 0-0-0 LADIES CURLING CLUB NEWS The rink personnel for 1954-55 will be published in the next edition so please watch for this item. The Ladies Club have a set fee of $10.00 per member which must be paid before the first scheduled game is played. Fee to be paid to : Mrs, Elicia Evans--Smith «at the Imperial Bank of Canada residence, 0-0-0 HOME AND SCHOOL ASSOCIATION The regular monthly meeting of the Home and School Association will be held on Monday, November 15th, at 6:15 p.m. in the Continuation School, Mr. Greening, Elementary School Inspector, from Port Arthur will be presert as guest speaker. All parents are urged to attend this meeting to hear this represu* ative of education speak, Another "highlight" of the evening is a film "Unfinished Rainbow" in technicolor.
