FIRST ROCKS THROWN! Tuesday night last, at 7:00 p.m., the 1951-52 Curling Club season got off toa smooth start when brooms were crossed in the big Turkey Bonspiel. First games were played between rinks of McInnes and Lohr and rinks of Haughn «nd Latour, with Lohr and Latour coming out on the right side of the score. On the nine o'clock shift, Garvin's rink dumped the Wellings team and Craig snowed Lumbers under, Wednesdey night finds Ostling vs. MneDonxld, Marsh vs Pinesult, Knnuff vs Hirris, and Olsen vs MicMillen, Thursdey's Schedules is as follows: 7:00 p.m. Ice #1 - McColl vs Sinkins Iee #2 - Monteith vs Dodge 9:00 p.m. Ico #1 - Farrow vs Roddy Ice #2 - Voligrodsky vs Allen Of the 28 mixcd rinks entered in the Bonspiel, only two games could not be scheduled before this Friday: Cline vs Byers 2nd Brillie vs Boudrenu.
