Any of you chaps who happen to be in a Department not mentioned here, or emnloyed elsewhere in the Townsite, are asked to feel free to nlay with whichever team you choose, The "Board of Strategy" of this league will be composed of the four team managers and Ossie Dalzell, The league will operate on Wednesday and Friday nights, with all games scheduled to start at 6:30 PM, The league opener has been set for May 16th., at the South Camp Diamond, The schedule will be drawn up to allow for each team playing one game per week during the first series, which will be completed by June 15th., and in the second series, which will finish on August 10., will allow for each team to play 3 games every two weeks. It is hoped that we shall be able to move to the new diamond, to be built at the school playground by the end of June, As pre-season warm-up games, the boys from the North Camp under the leadership of Joe "Tiny" Butler will engage the "White Collared" Salaried lads on Friday night and the Community Services team will take on the Engineering Dept, at 2: 30, Sunday aft .rnoon,
