Inasmuch as this poem was written by a former employee and is about Terrace Bay, we feel thet it is worth printing: "ODE TO TERRACE BAY" Out in the wilds with the spruce and the pines, To the North of Superior's shore, Enterprise keeps marching abreast of the times, Events cast their shadows before. Where the deer and the bear they gambol around, The birds singing cheery goodwill, Deep vision end foresight with tac' interbound, The planning of townsite and mill. From out of the wilds on completion will stend, My words won't deseribe it enough , monument of Progress, the skill of Man's hand , if de Like - jewel dug out of the rough. From 2 smell tow to city in years yet to com, Bright future ahead well defined, The ambition behind you the course will be run, Straight is the path so destined. To the East looms Marathon, out for the hreaks", In the West there is Red Rock too, With spirit and courage you have what it tekes, The Pride of the three will be you.
