What with many items on the enter- tainment agenda last week, some of the games were forced into postponement. It must be remembered that teams unable to have bowled at scheduled time must have these games bowled by Saturday, October 7th. After this, there will be no postponed games, and those teas unable to meet with the schedule due to shift work must have their games in advance, In the Ladies League, seven Scams are already entered. An cighth team would serve the schedule better. Should any ladics cauie to take up bowling, the chairman, Mrs. Vi Wainikka, would be glad to arrange placement. This must be done before Tuesday, October 10th, as Ladies bowling will commence the week of October 16th. The Commercial League consisting of four teams begins this week, There has been some good scoring in the Men's and Mixed Leagues, This is an indica- tion that all previous bowling records will be shattered. All bowlers welcome the news that Leon and Anne are happier parents, Their recent addition should relieve the pin sitters problem in the next few years. o-O=0 AT THE MOVIES Saturday, October 7 - "DOOLINS OF OKLAHOMA" So starring Rand@lph Scott.
