The Terrase Bay Bowling Executive has met on a few occa- sions since the Bowling season ended and made plans pertaining to a banquet affair which had to be scrapped owing to lack of service and facilities that could not meet our finan- Qial resources, At a recent meeting of the Executive the following was agreed upon and is hereby passed on to bowlers and escorts concerned, (1) Dancing and refreshments (sans a la rum) Thursday, June 29th., from 9:30 tiby Desoin the Recreation Hall. (2) Members of the bowling leagues will be admitted free of charge on presentation of tickets which will be obtainable from team captains. Non-members (escort of the bowler) will be admitted with tickets to be obtained before June 27th., at fifty (50) cents each. These tickets will be obtainable from L. Peck, 0. Harrison, P.Mazza, L. Checkryn and 0, Dalzell. Tickets will not be sold at the door, as this party is being arranged solely for bowlers and their escorts. (3) Refreshments including pop-corn, sheesies, potato chips, ete., will be supplied free of charge. (4) Arrangements are being made to have our own Terrace Bay Orchestra under its leader Joe Adamo (another 'enterprise for Joe) make its debut on this occasion. (5) Prize winners will be advised as to the time of the presentation of the prizes and it is expected that all winners will be on hand,or if this is not possible, to advise their League Chairman accordingly. Now that you'fre all in the know, forget your strikes, spares, splits and blows and join in with your "rivals in bowlingt to become "partnergp in dancing". There will be games and refre- shments galore and all of you supporters of this grand game are reminded that you just : can't afford to miss this opportunity of supporting the local team, o=-0=0 The attention of the member- ship is drawn to the fact that the Party scheduled for June 24th. has been postponed until July 15th.
