A sincere "Thank You" to all the wage earners of Terrace Bay who contributed so generously to the 1950 Red Cross Campaign. In almost every instance, the departments of LongLac Pulp & Paper Company Ltd. exceeded quotas set for them by Campaign Chairman Earl Veitch, We were also ably assisted by Dominion Gatering Co. employees, Aquasabon Hydro employees, and others in the Community Services group. Of all these, the Terrace Bay nursing staff led the way, being away over the top early in the campaign, Total returns show $1,255.25, or 25.5% over our objective of $1,000.00. We believe that our per capita contribution in this community leads the way in the Port Arthur dist- rict of the Lakehead Red Cross area, Only a spirit of co-operative good will made the success of this Drive possible, Terrace Bay citizens have again demonstrated their awareness that such needs as are served by the Red Cross are a definite responsibility we have toward those who may be less for- tunate, 0-0-0 TEEN AGERS WILL HOLD OPEN DANCE The public are cordially invited to attend an Open Dance to be held in Teen Town Club Rooms on Friday night, Admission will be 25¢ per person. 0-0-0 BY-LAW NO. 17 TO BE ENFORCED 'The «ttention ef all dog owners is directo? *+~ ards the : . fact that effective Anril let Bv-T.w No. 17 will be strictly enforced.
