Although December figures for Kimberly-Clark Corp, have not been received as yet, we believe that our frequency rate for that 5 month period equals if not betters the Corporation average for the same period. That is as it should be and such an achievement ought to inspire us to keep up the good work, "In order to keep "ole man accident" away from our midst and thereby eliminate the pain, suffering and loss of wages which always accompany his visits;.each one of us as individuals should again resolve to do our best to work safely. No one wants to get hurt, that's true, but it isn't enough to just trust to luck} Work habits must be watched carefully - it's so easy to be careless on the job when it becomes more or less a matter of routine, Let's think about our jobs and ways which we can do them even safer than in the past. And while we're thinking about safer ways to do our jobs, let's not overlook the fact that "hurry". and "taking chances" are two of the major causes of accidents, We should also bear in mind the fact that no job is so important that anyone should have to get hurt doing it. By keeping up our good work in the ficld of accident prevention we can all be spared accidents, and the results of our efforts will reflect in an improved safety record which will be a credit to every LongLac employee} '9-0-0 NEXT WEEK'S SAFETY SLOGAN (8:00 a Selle January eord to 8:00 a.m, eee ee "TO=DAY IS ANOTHER DAY - MAKE IT SAF 0-0-0 FOR SALE Two pairs skates and boots, size 9 = used one winter.
