In order to maintain a balanced schedule for the rest of the season, only four teams will bowl on that night, However, on each success- ive Monday and Wednesday night, eight teams are scheduled to roll. Schedules are being printed now and will be available to all, As there are 18 teams registered in this League and with four alleys to bowl on, it means that each team will miss one week of bowling during the schedule, Watch the bulletin board in the Bowling Alleys for a complete list of team line-ups, captains and schedule. The League has been divided into 3 sections of 6 teams each, so be sure to make note of which section your team is in. Bowling times will be at 7:00 and 9:00 p.m., so please be on time when you are scheduled to roll, On opening night, the "Never Sweats" headed by Harold Hall will meet Johnny Graham's outfit. Passerby feels quite proud BY of himself because we had one person tell us that he liked reoecing this "THE PASSERBY" column, Well, O.K., so what if he is the Editor of this Paper??? Any- ways, we kinda think that we should explain why this column didn't appear the last couple of times, You see, the Passerby is a family man, and Christmas comes in with an old fellow by the name of Santa Claus. 4s Santa needs a helper once in awhile; who was the little helper around our house who didn't have time to pound a type- writer?? -- You guess]} But, let's get on into this week's Notes. Did you notice how well-behaved the younger set of our Town has been this past while?? (Peace, it's wonderful!}}!) And did you ever see so many shining eyes around the stores this last two weeks?? Since Santa's visit we have particularly noticed that the old boy sort of went a bit overboard: around Terrace Bay - never have we seen such an array of gifts and every one of them is truly top quality stuff, (except the tie that we found under our tree from our Aunt Matildal!), Wasa'lt it kinda nice of the weatherman to come through with that snow on Christmas Eve? It did make it so much better than that slippery ice that we've had for too long. We remember reading some place that this Town is known as the Picture Post-card Town, It really 4nd truly is, especially when we note the many beautifully lighted trees, doorways and evergreen dise plays around Town. Why don't dome of these fine photographers around Town take some night Photos and send them into the big news agencies? We'll bet that they would win a prize,-- and they wouldn't have to watch the "Shooting angle! either. "The Passerby" wishes to take this extra space and wish all you good people a truly HAPPY NEW YEAR. In fact, we hope that this year will be the happiest year of your whole life, Long may you prosper; long may you be happy; long may you live,
