Of the less ser- ious accidents 10 have for time losses averaging only 3 days each. In terms of frecuency (the number of aécidents per million man hours worked) our rove for the year to date is slightly over 15. This compares quite favourably with nearby mills which have started up in recent years where in one case during the first calendar year of operation there were 83 accidents for a frequency rate of\ 56.1 and in another instance 102 accidents during a similar period for a frequency rate of 78.5 As we go to press, we have just completed our second calendar month without a dis- abling lost-time accident and the number of safe days worked now stands at 80 (more tien 287,000 man hours). In terus of days, our immediate objective is 100 which can be reached by November 21st. On completion of 100 safe days a gala Community Party vill be staged by the Compeny.
