The price of a good safety record is, of course, a continuing awareness on the part of cach amployee that the only way to work is the safe way. Slogan contests, departmental safety contests, safety talks, posters, and the efforts of the Accident Prevention Committee and its sub-committees all help, but in the final analysis the responsibility for a good record and a good accident prevention program rests with each one of us as individuals. It is the individual (could be any one of us) who suffers pain and loss of pay when an accident does occur and the same individual benefits most when accidents are prevented. Let's all be careful and constantly remember the now famous National Safety Council Slogan: "BE CAREFUL - THE LIFE YOU SAVE MAY BE YOUR OWN", »
