Page 2 CT BANAT VK AT TERRACK BAY. MAY eist to 28th Clean-up week at Terrace Bay this year Pee. ee ee : has been scheduled for the period from May Rlst to 28th, during which time everyone is urged to get rid of rubbish, debris, or anything combustible that is not goint to be used. This means, of course, taking a look around the closets, cellars, and any place where rubbish such as old papers or rags might have accumulated which could cause a fire hazard. During winter months, paper ad other refuse accumulate on the property surrounding our homes and now is a good time to get rid of it. The Company is arranging to have a truck take away any piles of rubbish which cannot be put in garbage cans and this service, of course, will be rendered in addition to the regular garbage collection, during the coming week only, Piles of such rubbish should be stacked at the side of the road and as convenient as possible to where the truck will pass, : The National Board of Fire Underwriters has prepared a pamphlet with quite a number of spring clean-up suggestions listed thereon, and these pamphlets will be delivered to the homes of all residents of the Community by the Terrace Bay Fire Department. <A CLEAN, TIDY NEIGHBOURHOOD IS A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE IN.
