Page es SOFTBALL DOINGS The 13-0 win last night by Fraser-Brace Whammies over LongLac's Klondike Klubbers put the Whammies into a two way tie with Hydro for first spot in the Men's Softball League. With last Monday's game rained out, the only other game played during the past week resulted in a 20-1 victory for Hydro over the Fraser-Brace Alkies. q During the past ten days or so a great deal of work has been put in on the ball field which has been almost entirely topped with clay. Playing conditions are now vastly improved. Another welcome addition to the ball field will be the new bleachers which should be in place in a day or so. The bleachers will be arranged behind the home plate screen and along the first and third base lines, and will be able to accommodate upwards of 500 spectators. This added feature, and the improved playing conditions on the field, should result in increased interest on the part of both players and spectators alike.
