Wellings and Margaret Elizabeth "Peggy" Miller. Given in marriage by H. S. Craig, the bride wore a three-piece logan knit ensemble of teal blue with brown accessories and she carried a bouquet of red roses, Attending the bride as matron of honour was her sister Mrs. Ab. Grey of Fort William who wore & mulberry suit with a corsage of cream roses. Best man at the wedding was Edward J» Brady of Terrace Bay. The organist was Miss Signy Burdell. Following the wedding in Schreiber the bridal party returned to Terrace Bay for the reception which was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Ratchford, Hudson Drive. Mr. and Mrs. Wellings left by train Saturday evening for the Lakehead and points west where they will spend their honeymoon. Upon their return to Terrace Bay they will reside at 16e Birch Crescent. @ 0.0 TERRACE BAY BADMINTON CLUB VISITS SCHREIBER Seventeen members of the Terrace Bay Badminton Club visited the Schreiber Club on Thursday evening May 6th and were royally entertained. A well run schedule of friendly games between the clubs kept the court busy from 8:00 p.m, until lunch was served shortly after 11:00 p.m, Following the delicious lunch play was resumed on an unscheduled basis while others remaining engaged in a rousing sing-song which lasted for better than half an hour, It was the first time members of the Terrace Bay Club had played outside of the com- munity and it was the opinion of all who made the trip that "we should do this more often", Schreiber players had been guests at Terrace Bay on April 7th.
