Page @. LADIES! AUXILIARY The Ladies! Auxiliary of the Terrace Bay Community Church held its : first regular meeting on Monday March 1, in the Recreation Centre, with the President, Mrs. Ostling in the chair. The meeting opened with the singing of a hymn followed by a prayer especially com- posed for the organization by Rev. Lavender, The minutes of the organization meeting and also of the executive meeting were read by the secretary, followed by reports from the convenors of the various committees, Arrangements were made for the Easter tea and bake sale to be held March 24th in the Recreation Centre. Mrs. Craig and Mrs. Lemon wore asked to act as convenors for the bake pale with Mrs. Laundy and Mrs. Dave McDonald in charge of the tea table and kitchen arrangements, Mrs. Duncan was appointed as advertising convenor. Mrs, Guest favoured the group with a vocal solo with Mrs, Wakeham acting as accompanist. Mrs. Wakeham was appointed as pianist for the organization with Mrs. Butcher acting as her assistant. It was decided to change the name of the group from "Women's Auxiliary" to "Ladies! Auxiliary" to eliminate any confusion with the name "Women's Institute", and aganization which may be formed later, The meeting adjourned and tea was served, with Mrs, Stewart and Mrs, Rowlandson acting as hostesses, ©1016 AT THE MOVIES All moving pictures are shown in the Recreation Hall, Lower Camp at 8:00 p.m. Fri. and Sat.
