After a general discussion it was agreed that regular meetings would be held every Monday evening at 7:30 pam. The Membership Fee in the Club was set at $1.00. On Monday March 8th, the meeting will be held in the Personnel Office and everyone should be on hand, as an election of officers for the Club will be held and Arnold Mantere will give his first lecture on -"Photography, Painting by Light," In addition to the chairman the other two provisional committee members are Jean MacDonald and Bill Fear. We would like to take this opportunity to extend our very best wishes to the Terrace Bay Camera Club for success in all their undertakings, oO 6 CATHOLIC WOMEN ORGANIZE The Catholic ladies of Terrace Bay gathered at the home of Mrs. Robert Schneble on Wednesday evening, February esth, Father Delaney was with the-group, The following were present: Mrs. R. J. Shemanski, Mrs. C. Knauff, Mrs. Wm, Cavanaugh, Mrs. Jos, Kennedy, Mrs. J. Dubois, Mrs. A. McColl, Mrs. E. Cavanaugh, Mrs, T. Cavanaugh, Mrs. A. MacDonald, Mrs, M. Purcell, Mrs. G. Byrd, Mrs, Re Sehneble, The Jadies agreed to; 1. Hold election of officers on Wednesday, March 17th, the next monthly meeting, at the home of Mrs, Shemanski - (8:00p.m.) 2, Hold monthly meetings every third Wednesday evening of the month at 8:00 o'clock, The evening will include the meeting, dessert and cards. 3, Have Father Delaney attend each meeting as advisor to the group. 4, Take up a silver collection at each meeting in place of dues - funds to go to church building fund, 5. Have continuons programme of contributing baked goods for baked goods sale held every other Thursday evening in conjunction with the regular programme, Cash resulting from this sale is to be alloted to the church building fund, (A11 of the ladies volunteered to bake for March 4th - quite a few are baking several things.) It was decided to alternate half of the group for each subsequent sale. 6, Have a continuous social programme in the form of a weekly card party in Terrace Bay -- i.e. one member of the group will entertain her own group in her own home, Hostess will supply dessert, prizes ($1.00 lst prize -- .50¢ booby prize).
